Parmer County Warrant Records Parmer County Warrant Records

Friona warrant records start with the clerk of Friona Municipal Court, the office that issued the citation in the first place. City traffic tickets, ordinance cases, and failure-to-appear matters all live there. The Friona Police Department handles local enforcement, and the court page posts city warrant lists as PDFs along with its payment routes. Know your citation date before you call. A phone call alone does not count as an appearance, so bring your case number and date of birth when you ask the clerk to confirm a warrant record. If the ticket did not come from the city, find the right court in Friona or Parmer County before you act.

How to Check for a Warrant in Friona

Friona Municipal Court is the first stop for a city citation or failure-to-appear matter. Its page links a full all-warrant PDF, a Friona-resident subset, and a Bovina-resident subset. No interactive result fields are exposed in those PDFs. Call the clerk with the name on the citation, date of birth, and citation or warrant number if available. The court can confirm whether a list entry is current and what appearance or payment it requires.

  1. Open Friona Municipal Court’s official page and use its links for the all-warrant PDF or resident subset that fits the case.
  2. Call 806-250-2198 with your name, DOB, and citation details to verify a list match.
  3. Ask whether the appearance date remains, whether payment is available, and how a recall is recorded.
  4. Use the Friona Police Department for local police contact; no separate police warrant search was located.
  5. If the citation is not from Friona Municipal Court, ask which court issued it before checking another system.

Friona Municipal Court Warrant Contact

Friona Municipal Court is at 617 Main Street, Friona, TX 79035. The published phone is 806-250-2198, with fax 806-250-2178 and courtclerk@frionatx.us or court@frionatx.us. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The court handles city traffic, ordinances, and fine-only criminal matters.

The city lists Judge Marie Samarron and Clerk Sonia Lopez-Gomez. Ask the clerk whether a specific amount is fine, cost, FTA fee, or bond, and whether a court appearance remains.

The Friona Police Department and Municipal Court

Friona Municipal Court issues city process for matters in its jurisdiction. The Friona Police Department is a separate city service contact; no standalone police warrant lookup or service assignment chart was found. A city court list should be confirmed with the clerk, even when the Police Department is the right contact for a local police matter.

The Police Department is at 521 Euclid, Friona, TX 79035, and its published number is 806-250-2711. The city page names Chief Isidro Jimenez and lists policechief@frionatx.us and FrionaPD@frionatx.us. Use the court for citation and warrant status.

The city police page gives contact details, not a searchable warrant roster.

Friona’s All-Warrant PDF Link

The Municipal Court page links a file labeled as the complete listing of all warrants, plus separate Friona- and Bovina-resident lists. Those are official city links, but the files are PDFs rather than a live, field-searchable warrant portal. The links inspected were named November 2025. Friona’s page does not state a recurring refresh schedule, so call the clerk before treating an old copy as current.

Do not republish names or photos from a list. Use the official city page to locate the current file and ask the court whether the record remains active, has been recalled, or needs an appearance.

Types of Friona Warrants

Friona’s municipal court page covers city traffic laws, ordinances, and fine-only criminal cases. A failure to appear by the citation date may lead to an arrest warrant. A capias pro fine is a separate post-judgment route for unpaid fines and costs under current Texas court procedure. A probable-cause arrest warrant in another case may come through a magistrate and is not the same as a missed city citation.

Friona Failure-to-Appear Warrant Rules

The court says the date printed on the citation controls. It permits an appearance in person or by regular mail, but a phone call does not count as appearing. The page warns that a failure to appear may result in an arrest warrant. A person who needs more time should ask the clerk what written request or appearance method the court will accept.

Do not assume a message left by phone changes the docket. Confirm that the court accepted a plea or reset and ask whether the warrant is still active after the court responds.

What a Friona Warrant Record Shows

Friona’s court page exposes list links, contact information, payment routes, and the citation appearance rule, but the exact PDF field schema was not captured. A clerk-held file may identify the citation, charge, issuing court, amount, date, and return. No Friona warrant-number format was published. Ask the court to explain each field in the current record.

Friona Warrant Payments Through GovRec

Friona allows citation payment in person, by mail, by phone, or online through GovRec. The static payment page did not expose the transaction fields during research. The city warns that an amount submitted online cannot be refunded. Before paying a warrant-related balance, call 806-250-2198 and ask whether the payment is a plea, whether an appearance remains, and when the court enters a recall.

Keep a receipt and ask the clerk to confirm the court’s record after processing. A portal balance does not by itself prove that a warrant was recalled or that the underlying case is finished.

Friona’s city-linked GovRec payment page is the payment route.

Where Friona Warrants Fit With Parmer County

The 2020 Census counted 4,171 Friona residents. That local population context does not expand Municipal Court records to JP, county, or district cases; each court holds its own file. See the Census profile for Friona.

Friona’s Municipal Court and Police Department handle city matters; a peace officer may execute process, but the public sources do not assign every warrant to one agency. Parmer County has no public Sheriff warrant search, and Texas has no public statewide warrant database. A Friona list therefore does not confirm a JP, county, district, juvenile, or federal record. For those separate routes, use the Parmer County warrant overview or its court-by-court search steps.

Friona’s 2025 Warrant Roundup Report

The March 10, 2025 Friona council packet includes monthly municipal-court rows for warrants issued and recalled, magistrations, show-cause hearings, traffic and nontraffic categories, and collections. Its narrative says that a warrant roundup had begun. This is a dated local report about the court’s activity, not a current event notice or a warrant roster.

Ask Friona Municipal Court whether any current roundup terms exist and whether they apply to a specific citation. No countywide amnesty window or Sheriff safe-surrender program was located.

Public Access to Friona Warrant Records

Friona’s city page says a public-records request must be in writing and must seek an existing record. The city says it need not answer questions, perform legal research, or comply with a continuing request. Its page states a ten-day response period. Juvenile records and certain sealed or investigative material remain restricted under Texas law.

Key Rules:

Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, covers public records held by a city, subject to exceptions.

Code of Criminal Procedure Article 15.26, makes executed arrest-warrant papers available through the clerk, subject to other law.

Family Code Chapter 58, restricts juvenile warrant and law-enforcement records.

Friona Warrant Records Requests

Friona says a request should ask for an existing document, not a legal answer or ongoing feed. The city’s Open Records page gives cityinfo@frionatx.us and 806-250-2761, and lists the Open Records Hotline at 512-478-6736 or 877-673-6839 for a response issue. Describe the city court record sought and include a citation or date if known.

That process is separate from the municipal payment portal. A records request may produce a public copy but does not establish whether an active warrant has been recalled. Call the court clerk for current case status.

Friona Open Records instructions explain the city’s written-request rule.
